When I was a kid I told everyone I was going to be an inventor. I’ve always been driven by ideas and storytelling, and in 2013, I decided I was going to begin investing in my own ideas by starting my first company. I made so many mistakes and learned how insanely hard it is to build a business, but I also realized how rewarding it can be. I’ve since cut my teeth and learned that my love and fascination for startups has given me unique perspectives and insights. I get so much joy out of bringing a product or concept to life, so I started kent.fyi to use my God-given gifts to help other founders and their businesses–to give them the help I wish I had but couldn’t find.
Previously I founded a company called VOILA that reinvented instant coffee and created the highest scoring cup of instant ever made.
Today the majority of my time is spent as the President of Swift Demo, a clean demolition company based in Central Oregon.
Besides work, I’m also a dad, a husband, a digital security and privacy hobbyist, an occasional natural wine drinker, a decent skier when I have time, and a 4.0 in Pickleball on good days.
